Review: Lelo Insignia Alia

Insignia Alia by Lelo is a waterproof clitoral vibrator that’s rechargeable and very sleek in appearance.  It comes in pink, black or rose silicone; I purchased a black one from Amazon. The alia is a pretty reasonable size; it is seriously about the size of my palm. Overall, I’d recommend it.

Alia is part of the Lelo Insignia line. It is made from 100% silicone around the outside and is lined with a medical grade plastic around the inside ring. The silicone has a soft feel to it and a matte color. Before I researched the product, I thought the plastic part of the Alia was some sort of chrome metal. Lelo manufactures some of the most aesthetically pleasing sex toys on the market. Its sleek design and appearance definitely puts it in the luxury toys category.
In your Lelo package you receive an instruction booklet, storage pouch, charger, Lelo brand lube, a brooch and of course the Alia. In the instruction booklet you get directions on cleaning, charging, and information on the warranty that comes along with your Alia purchase. Lelo’s packaging is just as luxurious as the toy itself.  The items are neatly placed and come in a simple black box.  The Alia is not only sexy, but also waterproof and, according to Lelo, can run continuously for four hours on a single charge.  While the Alia is charging there are flashing lights around the control buttons. Once it’s completely charged, the lights are steadily lit. It is approximately 3 ¼ inches long and 2 ½ inches wide.
Alia has a pretty good vibration to it and it’s not loud at all. As I stated in other posts, I cannot STAND loud vibrators. The Alia has three buttons; there’s a button to decrease and increase the vibration strength and one to change the vibrational patterns. There are six different vibrational patterns. I love the fact that you can choose the vibrational strength with each vibrational pattern. It’s so annoying when you get a toy that’s limited in that aspect. Also, there’s a travel feature! There’s no need to worry about the toy accidently coming on at an inconvenient time when it’s locked.
The Alia is pretty good for clitoral stimulation; I won’t say it’s as good as my bswish, but it gets the job done. I use my Alia alone or with a dildo/G-Spot toy; it all depends on what I'm feeling. I don't prefer this vibrator when having sex because of it's rounded edge. It's not comfortable to squeeze this between two bodies during missionary position. You have to do waaay too much to focus on the clit. With that being said, I don’t like its rounded edge. I prefer more of a pointed tip for more direct stimulation; the Alia doesn't make that easy. The vibrator seems to be placed at the top of Alia and it has a pretty wide size so the vibration can be felt all at the top of it. It just lacks the ability to narrow down the exact spot you're aiming for.
Yes, I like my Alia. Yes, I’d buy it knowing what I know.  The biggest perks are the size, noise level, and just plain ol’ aesthetics. The only reason I would second-guess the Alia is because of its not so pointy tip.  If you aren’t too particular about the tip like I am, give the Alia a try. It makes up for it in many other ways.

Review: Tantus Echo Vibrator

I was sent the Echo Vibrator by Tantus to review from Adult Sensations, annnd let’s just say… Whoa, these ridges…

The Echo is made from 100% silicone and has a really iridescent color to it. When I think of silicone I picture something with a matte-like finish. You don’t get that with the Tantus Echo. I’m really close to uttering the word “pretty” when I talk about its color. It has an insertable length of 6.5” and a width of 1.55”. The Echo has these ridges along one side of it that get smaller as you work down the shaft-MAN! Now, the most important feature (at least I thought) that I liked was the fact that it came with a small bullet that could be inserted into the bottom of it if you chose to do so.

When I first received this package I was really anxious to give it a whirl until I opened it. I felt a little intimidated because of its size and I had no idea how to approach it. So, after fooling around online looking at other people’s reviews and the ways they used it, I decided to just go for it. I inserted the bullet and grabbed my bottle of lube (I was afraid the head of it would be a little too wide to naturally go in.) Now those ridges *hallelujah*… The ridges on the Echo are very pleasuring; as you pull it out the intensity increases because of multiple ridges. I found it was easier to use a slower approach while using this so I could actually feel each ridge. Now, one issue that I do have with this is the bullet; it doesn’t last long. I thought that the batteries may have died, but that wasn’t the case. I noticed that I had to hold it a certain way for it to work correctly.

Overall the Echo is a great stimulator, but it lacked the ability to give me an orgasm. There’s no way this would be the only toy I used during one of my sessions. I had to pull out my bswish to accompany it; that was one of the BEST ideas I may have ever had. The combination of the ridges and clitoral stimulation was perfect. So, will I buy the Tantus Echo knowing this information? Probably not. The ridges are AWESOME, but I'm a little bummed out about the bullet.

If you are intrigued, the Echo can be found here at Adult Sensations for $63 or on their Canadian site.

Review: BCURIOUS

Soooo, where do I even begin?!...Ok, this thing is AMAZIIIING! The bcurious by bswish is one of the best vibrators I’ve ever purchased…No, seriously. I’m a sucker for direct clitoral stimulation. Hell, that’s all I really need majority of the time. The bcurious does just that. It has a curved shaped that makes it a helluvalot easier to use than some other toys in my collection.

Bcurious is rechargeable, ergonomic, sleek, and just down right sexy.  I absolutely love the sleekness of sex toys. It has a pin-point tip that makes it easy to get straight to the point. I, personally, am not a fan of toys that have a rounded edge; it makes it too hard to focus on the clit.

There are 7…yes 7…different vibration patterns. There is low, medium, high, escalation, pulse, fast pulse, and short-short-short-long pulse options to choose from.  I guess it all depends on your mood at the time. The controls on this thing consist of two different buttons: a power button and a settings button. Sweet, easy, and simple… They are located on what I would consider the underside. When I just want a “wham-bam-thank-ya-ma’am” session I go straight to the high setting and go to town.  Now, if I decide to use it during sex, then I prefer to use the pulse settings…It’s sorta like a tease type of thing. You get to the “almost there” point and then you have to start all over once the stimulation is broken. And get this…It’s not annoyingly loud! I cannot stand using a vibrator and feeling like everyone else on the block can hear my buzz. Not cool…

The bcurious is the right size; it’s not too big or too small. It’s definitely easy to fit between two bodies without the awkward positioning. It’s approximately 4 inches long and 1.5 inches wide. Bswish went with a plastic and silicone combination for this toy. As previously stated, it’s rechargeable. I probably charged mine about two or three times since I received it, and that’s only because I don’t want to risk it dying on me.  In the box you receive one unit, a charger, storage pouch, and an instruction manual…I doubt anyone will actually need that, though.

If I had to choose its best features, I’d have to say it’s the shape, noise level and size. I can honestly say there isn’t anything I would change about this. This is most definitely one of my staple products, and it is constantly in heavy rotation. Until I find something better, I choose you bcurious.

Review: Thrusting Jack Rabbit

The Thrusting Jack Rabbit is a dual simulator that thrusts in the vag and tickles the clit simultaneously; it is manufactured by California Exotic Novelties. There are two sets of thrusting beads in the head of the vibrator that will not jam for extremely pleasurable stimulation; there are three rows of beads in the first set, and two rows of beads in the secod set. There are 6 different rotation and thrusting speeds along with 7 different vibration patterns. These features are designed to stimulate the vagina, clit, and G Spot. The Rabbit is 100% waterproof so it can be used in the tub, shower, pool, etc. It is 8 inches long and 1.5 inches wide along the widest part and is made from jelly.

My Rabbit was purchased from my local Ambiance store; it retails for approximately $108. You can also find it here on Eden Fantasys website. I was so excited to give this rabbit a whirl. I came home and IMMEDIATELY ran some bath water and prepped for my well needed pussy pampering session. I stayed in the tub with my rabbit for at least an hour and a half and I experienced orgasm after orgasm after orgasm after orgasm after...I think you get my point...It was only a matter of time before I decided to give it a "thrustful" run outside of the tub. I decided to try this two different ways outside of the water. I inserted it into my vagina without any type of lubrication...Not comfortable at all. I know you're probably thinking "well, duh..." My point is, I really don't have an issue with getting wet. If I try, it gets done. I realized I didn't care too much for the feel of the jelly that it's made of. Sooo, I figured let's try this with some lube! I opted for my own special formulated lube; from my own shit. I tickled my clit with the rabbit ears of the vibrator to tease myself and get it wet. BINGO! That made it a lot better. However, I'm still not a huge fan of the jelly material. This vibrator packs an extremely powerful punch! For thrusting, I can turn it all the way up, but not for the vibrator. That is way too strong for my liking. I can only turn it up to level three, and that may still be too much jiggle. The two different controls are GREAT because of this. You pretty much have over 42 different combinations you can use for pleasure in one product.

Now, I'm not too fond of the packaging the Rabbit came in; it was a plastic box. I'm all about presentation; I can say I'm guilty of being drawn into something just because of its look. That wasnt the case with this though because I was determined to get myself a Rabbit. lol Also, It takes 4 AA batteries. It would be a lot more convenient if you could just plug it up to charge. Because it takes batteries, you have to make sure you remove them after every use to help prevent corrosion.

Overall, this product delivers what they promise. I use it almost every time I feel the need to tickle the cat. I will say, I don't always use the dildo portion of this, though. I go for the quick clit stimulation very often and call it a day.
