Review: Lelo Insignia Alia

Insignia Alia by Lelo is a waterproof clitoral vibrator that’s rechargeable and very sleek in appearance.  It comes in pink, black or rose silicone; I purchased a black one from Amazon. The alia is a pretty reasonable size; it is seriously about the size of my palm. Overall, I’d recommend it.

Alia is part of the Lelo Insignia line. It is made from 100% silicone around the outside and is lined with a medical grade plastic around the inside ring. The silicone has a soft feel to it and a matte color. Before I researched the product, I thought the plastic part of the Alia was some sort of chrome metal. Lelo manufactures some of the most aesthetically pleasing sex toys on the market. Its sleek design and appearance definitely puts it in the luxury toys category.
In your Lelo package you receive an instruction booklet, storage pouch, charger, Lelo brand lube, a brooch and of course the Alia. In the instruction booklet you get directions on cleaning, charging, and information on the warranty that comes along with your Alia purchase. Lelo’s packaging is just as luxurious as the toy itself.  The items are neatly placed and come in a simple black box.  The Alia is not only sexy, but also waterproof and, according to Lelo, can run continuously for four hours on a single charge.  While the Alia is charging there are flashing lights around the control buttons. Once it’s completely charged, the lights are steadily lit. It is approximately 3 ¼ inches long and 2 ½ inches wide.
Alia has a pretty good vibration to it and it’s not loud at all. As I stated in other posts, I cannot STAND loud vibrators. The Alia has three buttons; there’s a button to decrease and increase the vibration strength and one to change the vibrational patterns. There are six different vibrational patterns. I love the fact that you can choose the vibrational strength with each vibrational pattern. It’s so annoying when you get a toy that’s limited in that aspect. Also, there’s a travel feature! There’s no need to worry about the toy accidently coming on at an inconvenient time when it’s locked.
The Alia is pretty good for clitoral stimulation; I won’t say it’s as good as my bswish, but it gets the job done. I use my Alia alone or with a dildo/G-Spot toy; it all depends on what I'm feeling. I don't prefer this vibrator when having sex because of it's rounded edge. It's not comfortable to squeeze this between two bodies during missionary position. You have to do waaay too much to focus on the clit. With that being said, I don’t like its rounded edge. I prefer more of a pointed tip for more direct stimulation; the Alia doesn't make that easy. The vibrator seems to be placed at the top of Alia and it has a pretty wide size so the vibration can be felt all at the top of it. It just lacks the ability to narrow down the exact spot you're aiming for.
Yes, I like my Alia. Yes, I’d buy it knowing what I know.  The biggest perks are the size, noise level, and just plain ol’ aesthetics. The only reason I would second-guess the Alia is because of its not so pointy tip.  If you aren’t too particular about the tip like I am, give the Alia a try. It makes up for it in many other ways.

Vibe with you soon…
